God has used you to bless us in so many ways! As you mentioned above we, too, pray that you are here to be a part of our home going service. "Thank you" is not nearly adequate enough to express how grateful we are for your & Dayna's ministry!
Don't ever stop writing. We always look forward to your blog.
With much love & appreciation,
Tommy & Charlene
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09352853290193195345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5999348592503609924.post-53705536251057580762013-10-21T19:57:48.015-05:002013-10-21T19:57:48.015-05:00Absolutely, Charles. Like you, I'm confident ...Absolutely, Charles. Like you, I'm confident our seasoned saints have been far more encouragement to me than I have to them. They are a gift and a blessing. And you are a blessing for reading and commenting on my blog posts. You...Wonderful page on The Blessing of Tenure John. You covered just about everything that blesses a Pastor and after reading thru this article twice, I thought of one that had blessed my life, that being visiting church members in the hospital. As you know, sometimes we go and visit someone who is facing terminal illnesses, accidents, etc. and you ponder what to say to those individuals, only to leave encouraged rather than to encourage them. I usually find those "seasoned Saints" who have been thru the battle that do this, but it is always a blessing to see this.
I have received an added blessing from reading Dr. John Fawcett's story of how "Blest Be The Tie" came about in his life.... Thanks for sharing and added blessings on your tenure at First Baptist Hot Springs... Philippians 1:3Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06545307857553523330noreply@blogger.com
